This series consists of typed transcripts of commissions of Territorial Superior Court judges issued by U.S. Presidents Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. The commissioned judges include Harry Toulmin, Obadiah Jones, and Oliver Fitts. Included is a formal description of the commission, the date, the name of the commissioned official, the name of the President, and the name of the Secretary of State.
