Letter, 1757 March 12, Rome.

The letter refers to his recent book Roma soterranea... in defense of the documented facts and merit of the text. He refutes the repeated accusations that the contents are false. He cites the fact that the book was edited and printed simultaneously and in haste, which is responsible for certain omissions he is willing to rectify. He is forwarding two copies of the revised edition to a Domenico Cambiasso in Genoa, in addition to other short works by E. Cavalia.
