Charles Pitkin Birge papers, 1862-1903.

This collection consists of two letters (1901 and 1903); an 1888 publication of Thomas Jefferson's campaign song; an article on sugar beets and Iowa farms; a pass issued in 1862 allowing the holder to visit the "Northern Free States"; and 2 obituaries published in Keokuk newspapers after Birge's death on October 23, 1903.
