Jacob Blanck correspondence with Richard S. Barnes, 1958.

The collection consists of two items: typed, unsigned, carbon of a letter from Richard S. Barnes, bookseller, to Blanck, 22 May 1958, on the verso of an invoice voucher in Barnes's name; Barnes questions a publication date for H.C. Bunner's Seven Old Ladies of Lavender Town, referenced in Blanck's Bibliography of American Literature; also, Blanck's reply, 26 May 1958, noting that the copyright date Barnes mentions was for the magazine publication of Bunner's work, while the date Blanck gives is for the monographic publication.
