The Daniel M. Sachs Scholarship was established in 1968 by the Princeton University Class of 1960 in memory of Daniel Sachs, a class member who died of brain cancer at the age of 28. Sachs had been a varsity football player and upon graduation went on to study at Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar.
