Three letters, 1843.

Bartolini writes in French to his good friend that they are both busy with the works they want to be exhibited at the Salon. He would like to feel encouraged in the way the French army was when they saw the Egyptian pyramids, and won the war (1843, Nov.15). A short note in Italian asks his friend Paolo to deliver a letter of recommendation he is sending to Monsieur Lecomte (1843 June 5, Florence). He thanks a friend who took some prospective buyers to his studio while he was home, sick. He hopes the friend will bring them again in a few days when he has recovered (n.d.).
