Exchequer collection and Dodd's reports, ca. 1678-1714.

Two items bound together. The first part, a collection of Exchequer materials, including (a) Peter Osborne's 'A Short compendium or declaration of what every officer of Her Majesty's Court of Exchequer ought to do by reason of his office'; (b) 'Articles of uniting the late Court of Augmentations...to the Court of Exchequer'; (c) rules of court; (d) notes and precedents relating to fees and practice; (e) Eden's reports. The second part, reports 'Ex relationi Samueulis Dodd militis, Capitalis Baronis', Trin. 30 Car. II to Pas. 13 Anne (1678-1714). Samuel Dodd, barrister of the Inner Temple (called 1679) wrote these reports before he became chief baron of the Exchequer in 1714.
