Trilling-Goldhaber Group Physics and Technical Notes, 1960- 1978.

Series consists of the Physics Notes and Technical Notes created by the Trilling-Goldhaber Physics Research Group from 1960 to 1978. Physics Notes describe results of particle physics experiments and Technical Notes describe computer programs and technical procedures and calculations for experimental apparatus. The records series provides excellent documentation of the ongoing experimental observations and interpretations of the Group, beginning in the 1960s with the kaon and strong interaction studies of baryons and mesons to the mid-1970s discovery of psi states, hadron interactions, and various baryon decay states (xi, chi). The records also provide conference papers describing experimental results; papers on the proposed magnetic detector (Mark II) at the Stanford Positron Electron Accelerator Ring (SPEAR) for use by the LBL-SLAC (Stanford Linear Accelerator Center) Collaboration; particle tracking using bubble chambers; and automated data collection and analysis. Includes primarily original notes and drafts.
