Recollections of the Ehrenfest family, 1936-1938, 1994.

Sard's brief recollections of his stay with the Paul Ehrenfest family in Leiden, Netherlands in 1936-1938. Ehrenfest had previously died in 1933. He fondly recalls Mrs. Ehrenfest, Tatiana Afanaseva, who was the first woman to hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics in Germany, and the Ehrenfest children, Paul, Jr., Gallinka, and Tatyana. He conveys many of their memories of their husband and father.
