Commonplace book of poetry, [17--?].

Manuscript miscellany in verse and prose, principally on affairs of state and from a highly Protestant perspecitive, including 9 poems by Rochester, as well as apocryphal items. Written in unidentified early 18th century hand, possibly by an Anglican cleric from Cambridge. Contains various university poems, such as (p. 200-201) "On a Whore that was whipt thro" Cambridge, at the Cart Arse, by T.P.T. C[orpus] C[hristi] C[ollege]. Poems date from ca. 1670s to 1704.
