Letters, 1852-1860.

Concerning social engagements, travel plans and work in progress. Most notable is a letter, 1852 March 4, commenting on Charles R. Cockerell's transference of Gibson's statue of George Stevenson in St. George's Hall to a place with better light. Gibson concurs with the move, gives the price of the work, and lists his fee for making a pedestal.
