Collection includes reviews written by Bacon during 1934 when he served as music editor for The Argonaut (San Francisco), 46 songs for voice and piano chiefly on poems by Emily Dickinson, correspondence, a cassette tape of his Sonata for violin & piano, and other biographical material along with photographs. Collection also includes manuscripts in pencil of vocal music and texts for music and correspondence of John Edmunds with Bacon, close friends and collaborators; as well as several librettos and related correspondence of Cornel Lengyel, with whom Bacon worked on an opera/play concerning Benjamin Franklin.
