Letters by Sambourne (half are illustrated) concerning his cartoons for "Punch" magazine and other matters. Included is an illustrated invitation to a private viewing of his drawings at the Fine Art Society (1893), an illustrated letter to Sir James Dromgole Linton requesting information on medieval tournaments for a series of designs he is producing (n.d.), and a letter commenting on the lack of recognition for his work and furnishing information on his book illustrations (1906).
