Letters, 1894-1899.

Personal and intimate letters to his wife, Bice, and to his friend Enrico Dalbesio in Milan, including some discussion of engravings and paintings in progress, exhibitions, his finances and the sale of works. With some reference to his reading and his original contributions. The collection also includes a long letter to Ely Halperine-Kaminsky correcting the text of Segantini's essay (in response to an enquete) on Tolstoy's "What is art?" (1898) and two orders for books on art and art theory (1899) from Breslau and Vienna.
