Papers of Francis Parkman, father of the historian, include a two volume journal (1808-1810; 1813-1836) describing commonplace occurrences and pastoral responsibilities as a Unitarian minister in Boston, a single letter (Sept. 1810) to his father, Samuel Parkman, a journal in one volume detailing a trip to Europe in 1845, and an account book of stocks, mortgages and trusts administered (1850-1852).
