The collection consists primarily of catalogs, bulletins, specification sheets, price lists, and other publications of companies that produce instrumentation. The companies represented are from the United States, England, Germany, Japan, and Holland. This material covers the period 1911-1969, with the bulk from the 1930s and 1960s. Included are 3 boxes of Instrument Society of America publications. In addition there are several other items. First, there is a record set of Honeywell-Brown advertising literature with cost records (1947-1959, 1952, 1957). Second, there are copies of the Honeywell-Brown quarterly journal "Instrumentation" (1949-1958). Lastly, there is a copy of "The Handbook of Measurement and Control", (1951).
