Minutes; reports; correspondence; bylaws. Primarily minutes of the Executive Committee of the Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy, Inc. (AURA) during the presidency of Frank K. Edmondson. A major focus of the meetings was on the two observatories operated by AURA: Kitt Peak National Observatory in Arizona and Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory in Chile. Includes details of financial planning and administrative organization at both observatories, new installations at Kitt Peak, and work at Cerro Tololo from site selection to dome building. Reports are to the AURA Board of Directors on the two observatories, AURA officers' visits to Chile, and scientific training for Latin American students. Also contains a small amount of correspondence and AURA bylaws (1962).
