Flower-Sprecher Library print and engraving collection, 1781-1940.

Contained in the collection are prints and engravings of wild and domesticated animals including farm animals, pets, birds, wild bovines, cats, and primates. One set of prints was produced in 1781, another in 1824, and another beginning in 1805. Some are black and white, some hand-colored. Also included are four prints of scenes in veterinary clinics real and imaginary.
