Scrapbooks mostly containing newspaper clippings concerning the painter Henri Rousseau, with explanatory side-notes. Illustrations of Rousseau's paintings and photographs of Rousseau are included. Also contained in the collection are a permit for Rousseau to study in the Musees Nationaux (1884) and the petition of a group formed to raise a monument to Rousseau signed by Robert Delaunay, Paul Serusier, A. Archipenko, Andre Dunoyer de Segonzac, Albert Gleizes, Guillaume Apollinaire, and others. With some original poetry in tribute to Rousseau.
