Autograph letter signed : Winchfield, to "Dear John", 1863 June 16.

Writing belatedly to accept an invitation, expressing his pleasure at the recipient having come to Winchester and offering to place whatever influence he may have at his correspondent's disposal, and mentioning plans to be "down at Bracebridge[?] with my friend Sartoris" in the summer.
