Letters, ca. 1875-1892.

Twenty-one letters are addressed to the collector Gizalme and primarily discuss work in progress for proposed sales and trades of art objects (n.d.). Fifteen letters to Jules Castagnary and his wife include some discussion of work in progress, exhibitions, and Castagnary's writings (1875-1890). Three letters are addressed to "mon ami et grand poete." Other correspondents include Felicien Champsaur. With a photograph of the artist.
