Benjamin Franklin letter to William Strahan, 1746 September 25.

Consists of one autograph letter signed by Benjamin Franklin to William Strahan, a London printer, discussing payment of bills and placing an order. Franklin also congratulates Strahan "on the Defeat of Jacobism by your glorious Duke, and the Restoration of Peace and Good Order within the Kingdom" and reports that "a French Fleet of about 30 Sail were lately seen off Cape Sables [Nova Scotia]." The letter is dated 25 September 1746 from Philadelphia.
