Deals with erotic and romantic love, passion, estrangement, longing, rapprochement, joy and sorrow, betrayal, and gives details about medieval courting rituals; manuscript generally parallels printed editions of the Amaruśataka of Amaru, but diverges from them significantly in a number of verses and is attributed to Śaṅkarācārya in the colophon (f. 12r).
