RIT Tiger Walk ephemera, 2005.

Participants in the Tiger Walk, which precedes the Convocation, greet RIT's new students. The Tiger Walk has become a tradition where alumni, faculty, and staff greet the incoming class as they make the trek from the residence halls to the Field House. The 2nd annual RIT tiger walk provided a rowdy kickoff to the school year on August 29, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. Participants wear "Welcome students" t-shirts, wave tiger fans, as seen in this collection, and carry signs to welcome the newcomers. The Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Tiger Walk ephemera consists of a t-shirt and tiger fan from the 2nd annual walk in 2005. RIT's Tiger Walk is an annual welcoming event for first-year students. RIT faculty and staff gather outdoors to cheer on the students and their families as they walk to the Gordon Field House for the opening Convocation.
