These records document two conferences: "The Marshall Plan and the Building of an Atlantic Community," Dec. 18-22, 1987 and "The Western Community and the Gorbachev Challenge," Dec. 19-22, 1988. (The Marshall Plan manuscripts were edited by Archie C. Epps, Dean of Students, for a book entitled: Present at the Creation: the Fortieth Anniversary of the Marshall Plan.)
