The Carl Collin collection contains Collin's diary, sermon books, and his father's last testament. Collin was born in Elmeboda, SmaĚŠland, Sweden in 1857 and moved to the United States when he was 12 years old. He studies at Gustavus Adolphus College, and was ordained as a pastor in 1882 after attending Augustana Seminary in Illinois. Collin served in the Minnesota Conference within the Augustana Synod the entirety of his ministry.
