A letter of condolence to the Brown family concerning the death of Herman Brown, Jr. signed by 1st Lieutenant George Z. Bonnette, USMC, stationed at the Naval Ammunition Depot (McAlester, Okla.). A postscript thanks Brown for securing gasoline, despite rationing of such commodities, which allowed Bonnette's wife to make the trip to Oklahoma.
