Materials related to the Rochester Area Colleges, a consortium of educational institutions in the Genesee Valley Area that was founded in 1970. The collection includes program brochures, correspondence, reports, fliers, and clippings. The Rochester Area Colleges collection consists of materials related to the Rochester-based education consortium. Some of the materials in the collection predate the consortium's founding in 1970. However, these items represent collaborations between the area colleges prior to the Rochester Area Colleges' formation. The collection also includes organization newsletters and a clippings file. This clippings file has articles on the consortium and its activities, as well as event calendars. Additionally, there are program brochures, correspondence, event fliers and invitations, and a few other pieces of ephemera. There is a report on the possible uses of television in academic collaboration, published in 1964.
