Seated figures surround a girl holding two dogs vertically as Fragonard seems to be mocking the new theories of education during the age of Enlightenment. The engraving by Nicolas Delaunay is based on the painting done by Fragonard in 1780. The painting is owned by the Museum of Art, Sao Paolo, Brazil.
