Reporting that Ruskin continues to improve; adding "I can hardly realize that our anxiety is ended so suddenly but I'm sorry to say tho' he seems quite well mentally, just as last time, he is very naughty and refuses to believe how ill he has been and abuses us all today for our treatment of him. It is a very uncomfortable phase for us and I trust will soon pass. He little knows the intense anxiety and sorrow for him we have had this last month."
