Frederick A. Tompson architectural drawings, ca. 1893-1927.

The collection contains drawings for 84 individual buildings. Most of them are by Tompson, although a few are unidentified, unsigned or signed by another architect, including John P. Thomas. The drawings are a mix of ink and graphite on linen, or glazed paper, and tracing paper. Some sets include blue prints and engineering drawings. Notable clients include: F.O. Cobb, Ammi Whitney, Tomlinson Family, William H. Milliken, James P. Baxter, Walter Dresser, the Eastman brothers, Fred E. Richards, Geza V. Seemayer, and Henry P. Cox. Notable commercial clients include: Walker Memorial Library, Westbrook High School, several fraternal organizations, hotels, and Eastman Bros. & Bancroft.
