Bradley C. Hosmer collection, 1917-2003.

This collection contains a series of documents, correspondence, speeches, manuscripts, photographs, prints, artwork and artifacts related to Lt. Gen. Bradley C. Hosmer's Air Force career. Of particular importance are Air Force Long Range planning documents adopted by the Air Force at the CORONA Conference held at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) in 1996. Additionally, there are materials from the American Military University, where Hosmer served on the Board of Trustees, and working papers from the First Long Range War Game, part of the Long Range Planning Effort.

Bradley C. Hosmer was born in 1937 and in 1959 graduated from the United States Air Force Academy, the top graduate in the Academy's first graduating class. He was then named a Rhodes Scholar and graduated from Oxford University in 1962 with a Master's degree in International Relations. He began his pilot training and in 1963 became a pilot training instructor. He saw combat service in Vietnam and then served in a variety of staff positions.
