Recordings of a lecture given by Detlef Mertins on the subject of public space in the work of architect Mies van der Rohe. Presented on Oct. 18, 2001 at the Canadian Centre for Architecture, Montréal, as the second of three lectures in a series entitled "Mies révélé / Mies revealed", held in conjunction with the exhibition "Mies en Amérique = Mies in America", on view at the CCA, Oct. 17, 2001-Jan. 20, 2002. Includes opening and closing remarks by Nancy Dunton.
