Willard Hoyt to Mrs. Byron Johnson Rees [manuscript], 1920 October 7.

Hoyt transmits to Mrs. Rees the memorial minute expressing the appreciation of the Trustees of Williams College for the life and service of Byron Johnson Rees. The enclosed memorial minute notes that Rees was a "scholar of rare accomplishments, a master in his chosen field of English, an inspiring and successful teacher" as well as a man who "exemplified...the ideals of Christian manhood that Williams...sought to inculcate in her sons."
