Eugene R. Brumbaugh was a geophysicist with Shell Oil Company from 1946 to 1981. He supervised data acquisitions and developed structural interpretations in the Williston Basin of Montana; the Powder River, Big Horn, Wind River, and Green River Basins and Western Fold Belt in Wyoming; and the Uinta Basin in Utah.
