Hooker family memorial, 1623-1899.

This is a volume containing the history of the Hartford area Hooker family, descendants of the city's founder, Rev. Thomas Hooker. The original portion, dating to 1623, has been conserved and placed in the middle of the newer volume. John Hooker, of Farmington, Connecticut, put the volume together in 1847. He claimed it contains the handwriting of Thomas Hooker, his son, and his grandson. Newspaper clippings and writings have been added as well.
