Colonel Frank Dunkley military records collection, [ca. 1920-ca. 1981].

The Colonel Frank Dunkley military records collection contains correspondence; memoranda; maps of Germany; photographs of non-combat military activities, training, & destroyed buildings; clippings; and speeches documenting Dunkley's service during World War II, primarily in Linz, Austria, and Alaska. The records dated during the postwar period contain speeches from various events, as well as correspondence concerning his work at various military camps in Kansas. The correspondence and memoranda during the war years concerns his assignments in Linz and Alaska, as well as general procedural notifications from the Army that applied to all soldiers. The photographs mostly show military activities on Kiska Island of Alaska.
