The collection consists of manuscripts, printed material & photographs relating to the Wolfe & Kenworthy families; materials written by and to Carmie S. Wolfe; and a variety of materials from Carmie S. Wolfe's niece Carmie Griscom's life, including a 1905 letter written by Carmie S. Wolfe to Stella Olcutt, her roommate at the University of Kansas (Lawrence) describing a 6-week trip to the American West. Also included is an album of the life and times of Carmie S. Wolfe assembled by Carmie Griscom, 1976. The scrapbook includes photographs, letters, programs, and other mixed media materials from ca. 1898-1971. There are also 2 Lincoln plays written by Carmie S. Wolfe, Lincoln lives again or Gettysburg aftermath from 1951 and Lady of Lincoln from 1955, focusing on Mary Todd Lincoln. Also present is a small scrapbook of photographs and newspaper clippings related to Lady of Lincoln, information about Albert I. Wolfe, photographs of the Peter R. Wolfe family, and Amy Wolfe Coleman's family records.
