Ebenzer Porter letter to Jedidiah Morse, 1812.

Autograph letter, signed, from Ebenezer Porter to J. Morse, dated January 24, 1812. Porter apologizes for not having replied sooner, discusses departing for Andover, and inquires as to the state of the roads and coaches between Boston and Hartford, with an eye toward visiting Morse.
