The Silence Yale Campaign, a movement for Harvard fans to play vuvuzelas at The Game, was initiated in October 2010 by Eric M. Cervini (Harvard College Class of 1914) and Johnathon H. Davis (Harvard College Class of 1914). However, the Department of Athletics banned the use of vuvuzelas at the game, citing concerns about the noise level.
