The materials in this series are daily press releases and weekly newsletters. Topics such as Romney's annual state of the states message to the joint House-Senate session, the compromise tax plan of 1967, rising crime and civil disobedience in 1968, and the Milliken style in 1969 are given in-depth analysis in the newsletters. Press releases, on the other hand, are generally excerpts or summaries of Committee meetings, House and Senate Bills, or announcements of staff appointees. However, special committee reports and special investigations may at times be given extensive treatment. The weekly newsletters cover a period from 1967 to 1978, and the press releases concentrate on the years 1967 to 1974. Arranged chronologically.
