Vita di Fra Girolamo Savonarola transcriptions, [ca. 1889-1895].

Two manuscript transcriptions of an anonymous Vita di Fra Girolamo Savonarola (16th century), one by Louis P. Shanks, the other incorporated into a manuscript titled Transcription and Comparison of an Anonymous Manuscript Life of Savonarola and the Pseudo-Burlamacchi Life by Leona Bowman. Shanks's transcription is on a pad of unlined writing paper; Bowman's is on lined writing paper in paper wrappers. With them is the November 1889 issue of The Cornell Magazine, containing an article on "Savonarola and His Biographers" by George Lincoln Burr.
