Two orderly books (with typescript copy of volume 2, not on microfilm) of general and brigade orders (1781 May 23-October 22) for troops under the command of General Corwallis issued on board transport ships and from various camps in Virginia en route to Yorktown. Includes orders relating to troop movements, work details, courts-martial, appointments and promotions, care of the sick, supplies, African Americans attached to the regiments, number of horses maintained, and foraging procedures.
