Correspondence, writings, lecture notes, newspaper clippings, biographical material, and printed matter pertaining primarily to Kris's academic career in psychoanalysis after his immigration to the United States in 1940. Documents his work as visiting professor at the New School for Social Research, New York, N.Y., and at the College of the City of New York, New York, N.Y.; co-director of the Research Project on Totalitarian Communication, New York, N.Y.; and lecturer for the New York Psychoanalytic Institute, New York, N.Y.
