WPA bulletins issued from the Boston office covering all projects in Massachusetts, including national rules and procedures; report on the WPA work conducted by the National Appraisal Committee in April 1939, including summation of 7737 community surveys and recommendations for improvement in the WPA program; materials relating to the Fitchburg Public Library project, a part of the WPA state library recataloging project when each library was given the opportunity to recatalog, reclassify, and cross-index all its books, including correspondence between Marguerite Cogswell, district supervisor and the library, project description, employee records, production reports, certification reports, and logbook providing day by day report of the work completed.
