Bill Moody interview, 1984 June 6.

Moody talks of being a smokejumper since 1957. He was a jumper, trainer, and squad leader from 1957 to 1965 at La Grande, Or., then from 1966 to 1984 at the North Cascades Smokejumper Base, Winthrop, Wash., where he became base manager in 1972.
