Thebaud, and the Nova Scotia schooner Bluenose and her skipper Capt. Angus Walters; correspondence and other materials documenting Pine's activities with Atlantic Supply Co. and as master and co-owner of several vessels, including the Gertrude L. Thebaud and Columbia and fishing draggers Puritan and Pilgrim; papers and photographs concerning his 1933 sail to Washington, D.C., in the Gertrude L. Thebaud, with a delegation of Gloucester leaders to plead the cause of Gloucester fisheries with Pres. Franklin D. Roosevelt and Roosevelt's subsequent sail to Gloucester on the Amberjack II; correspondence (1929-1939) from Louis and Gertrude Thebaud, financiers of the schooner Gertrude L. Thebaud; correspondence, work notes, expenses and employment agreements, and vessel log (1933-1937), regarding Pine's trip to the Chicago Exposition as representative of the State of Massachusetts; and incoming and outgoing correspondence from and to recipients, contributions, disbursements, and miscellany regarding the Columbia/Avalon fund which Pine organized and which was established by the American Fishermen's Race Committee to provide for the dependents of those who died in the 1927 loss of the vessels Columbia and Avalon.
