Terrell Croft Drinkwater was an airline executive. Born in Denver, Colorado in 1908, Drinkwater earned his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Colorado. From 1932 to 1942, he practiced aeronautical law in Denver, Colorado. Drinkwater was named a vice president of Continental Airlines in 1942, then became a vice president of American Airlines in 1944. Western Air Express flew its first flight in a Douglas M-2 airplane, April 1926. It was awarded the US Postal Service contract to fly the mail from Salt Lake City to Los Angeles.
