Webb was born in Chester, Connecticut. He attended graduate school at Yale, graduating in 1819. Briefly practicing in Chester, Webb spent most of his career in Madison, Connecticut. His professional memberships included the New Haven County Medical Society, the Connecticut Medical Society, and the American Medical Association.
