Manuscript, on paper, in a single cursive hand, of two works on Machiavelli. The first discusses the Papal condemnation of Machiavelli's works; the second, written in the first person, is a vigorous defense of Machiavelli from various accusations. The volume also contains an anoynmous life of Sertan Caracciolo, the Senescal of Naples who was assassinated in 1432.
